| Bluefin Tuna have been showing up off the coast of NorthCarolina
for years, however, they have not been targeted seriously until the
last five or six years. These fish are large with an average weight
of 300 to 400 pounds along with friends that exceed 700 to 800 pounds,
enough to give anyone a battle. Unique to North Carolina, and especially
the Morehead City / Cape Lookout area, is these fish can be caught
within twenty minutes off the dock! Fishing anywhere from 20 to 60
feet of water!
